Tayeba Sultana

As a Nutritionist, Tayeba Sultana has more than 13 years’ of experience with strong academic background, sound technical knowledge and competencies on the operationalization of public health and clinical nutrition services. She has completed the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS), Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from College of Home Economics under the University of Dhaka, and received a number of training on nutrition with special certifications from various renowned organizations.

Working with several national and international organizations, she has demonstrated expertise on implementation research with particular interest on urban nutrition, community nutrition, maternal infant & young child nutrition (MIYCN), adolescent nutrition, community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), management of severe acute malnutrition (SAM), and early childhood development (ECD), WASH,  and social & behavioral change communication (SBCC).

Tayeba has immense expertise in project proposal writing, project management, real time monitoring and evaluation,  designing and management of quantitative and qualitative research, sampling design, development of data collection tools, conducting interviews, data collection, analysis & report writing, translation of training manual/handouts and SBCC materials, training needs assessment, organizing and facilitation of trainings, preparation of presentation, translation of modules/materials and multi-sectoral coordination.
