As a public health and nutrition professional, Sharmin Kuaser has over 13 years’ experiences of work in development and humanitarian context in Bangladesh. Her development experiences focus on research, project management and implementation. She has expertise on implementation research, program evaluation, monitoring & learning, with particular interest on urban nutrition, workforce nutrition, community nutrition, WASH, adolescent nutrition, maternal infant & young child nutrition (MIYCN), comprehensive competency based nutrition (CCTN), baby friendly hospital initiative (BFHI), community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), and management of severe acute malnutrition (SAM).
She worked with national, international and UN agencies with proven skills on project management, results-based project management, real time monitoring, qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, report writing, development of training manual/handouts and SBCC materials, training needs assessment, organizing and facilitation of trainings and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
Sharmin Kauser holds Master degrees on Public Health from American University of Bangladesh and on Food and Nutrition Science from College of Home Economics under University of Dhaka.
