Silvia Saberin

Silvia Saberin is a dynamic professional with a rich background in public health and project management, deeply committed to community well-being. She currently plays a pivotal role at the American Heart Association, supporting both the Evaluation and Clinical Quality Improvement Teams.

In addition to her work at the American Heart Association, Silvia serves as a board director at Movendi New York, actively engaged in alcohol policy initiatives. She's also a passionate advocate for the "Sugar Truth Campaign," pushing for mandatory warning icons on menus in NYC chain restaurants.

Silvia's impressive academic journey includes earning her second master's degree in Public Health from New York University's School of Global Public Health. Her academic excellence earned her the prestigious "Rising Star" award, and she focuses on championing community health through extensive research and proactive interventions.

Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience in nutrition and public health in Bangladesh, with expertise in maternal, child, and adolescent nutrition. She was a review board member for the development of Bangladesh's "National Infant and Young Children Feeding Guidelines."
