As a Public Nutrition and Health Specialist, Dr. Md. Mohsin Ali has more than 35 years’ experience of working in national health and nutrition services of Bangladesh at different levels including sub-district, district and national; United Nations (unicef) system, and as an independent consultant.
He has the working experiences at both policy/strategy and implementation level in/with major government nutrition and health programs including National Nutrition Program, Infant and Young Child Feeding, Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders, Vitamin A Fortification of Edible Oil, Expanded Program on Immunization, Control of Acute Respiratory Infections, Control of Diarrhoeal Diseases, Tuberculosis and Leprosy control etc. Dr. Mohsin worked for 11 years in UNICEF Bangladesh country office as Nutrition Programme Specialist with portfolios of IYCF, anaemia, urban and upstream policy.
Dr. Mohsin Ali has intensive engagement at national level policy, strategy, and plan formulation on Nutrition. Currently he has been working for last six years as an Independent Consultant with assignments on diverse area of disciplines including urban programming, nutrition program development & evaluation, advocacy for nutrition, capacity development and training for nutrition, multisectoral nutrition policies, urban nutrition strategy etc.
